Ganeesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati, and he is always depicted with an elephant head. This is however also true Hindu god worshiped in Buddhism and Jainism. In Hinduism, he is known as the God of wisdom. He removes all obstacles and is the patron of science, writing and school.
