The Tibetan knot or Srivatsa is one of the oldest and best known of the eight Buddhist Lucky Symbols. The other seven are; the vase, the parasol, the golden fish, the lotus, the cochlea, the banner and the wheel (see Dharmachakra).
Symbolically it represents the infinity of Buddha's love and knowledge.
For Tibetan Buddhists, the infinite node is a classical representation of their perception of reality. That all phenomena are intertwined and depend on cause and circumstance.
