The characters around the Yin-Yang symbol refer to the I Ching, the oracle book. The main objective of the I Ching is promoting self-knowledge. The I Ching requires some perseverance to do this his own, but an inexhaustible source of wisdom, inspiration and knowledge to anyone willing, methods and basic principles to be respected. Originally based on eight basic trigrams or trigrams. Later, these eight trigrams combined into sixty-four images of six lines, called hexagrams. All of these hexagrams feature commentaries (the judgments). Simply put, by throwing three coins or straight wooden sticks, you can compose a hexagram, and then you comment on the hexagram in the book reference.
